Weird, Wonderful and Rare Fungi

Even though the fungi season is basically finished, I still have marvellous memories of the many interesting and unusual fungi that I saw throughout the autumn and early winter of 2021. I have written this article to celebrate the most amazing finds that were made. Many of them were seen while I was on walks with the Fungus Survey of Oxfordshire group and the Buckinghamshire Fungus Group. You can read about these fabulous rare, beautiful (and some poisonous) mushrooms in the following article, which was published in The Henley Standard on 3 February 2022.
