I have enjoyed taking photos ever since I got my first Nikon camera in 1980. My brothers and I have been in competition to take the best photos for years. During the pandemic and subsequent lockdown, I started taking photos of nature every day and now I carry my small pocket Canon G5X camera everywhere I go - even if it's only a dog walk around the garden. You never know what you're going to find and it would be a shame to miss the opportunity to take a winning shot. Also, the more you do something, the better you get at it. I have taken literally tens of thousands of photos and continue to enjoy it.
