Birds
Before I became interested in the natural world as a whole, birds were always my great love; my interest in birds superseded fungi, lichens or flowers. How things have changed!
Before lockdown, I had been photographing and studying birds from all over the world for many years. In fact, most of my international trips involved some sort of bird watching--I never went anywhere without my binoculars or camera. I especially love the birds that visit my garden, all of which feature here. So it is with great pleasure that I present this article, published in the Henley Standard on 11 June, 2021.
